Editing
Sep 18, 2017 9:48AM PDT

If you have already bought the laptop then try it.
If your happy with the perf then your good.

If your serious about editing then you want a desktop.
I doubt you can build one for $800.

Only you know what is acceptable to you.

Just about any machine can edit it's a matter of how fast you want it to produce a result.

Config
Sep 19, 2017 4:45AM PDT

Thank you Bob
How about this configuration:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 6x 3.20GHz, boxed (YD1600BBAEBOX)
Corsair Vengeance LPX schwarz DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3000, CL15-17-17-35 (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)
ASUS Prime B350-Plus (90MB0TG0-M0EAY0)
be quiet! Straight Power 10 400W ATX 2.4 (E10-400W/BN230)
AMD Radeon HD 5670
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250gb

i just want to have films between 5 and 30 mins and i have no rush for getting a fast result
how much more % you think this desktop configuration would be better than this laptop?
sry for questioning, but im a complete noob in this field Happy

I think the desktop will be much better.
You would need to set each machine side by side and edit the same film to see the result.
The nice thing about the desktop is that you can upgrade if it's not fast enough.
The upgrade path on a laptop is very limited.

I would not get that psu.
Shop for a psu with a single 12v rail.

Why that PSU?
