and it is less than around $200,
and you don't record REALLY LOUD audio (because the audio mic gain will be over-driven so the recorded audio will sound muddy and have static and there is no way to fix this),
and you don't care that the low light behavior is poor (so you get grainy video),
and there is no external mic jack,
and there is no easy way to do manual focus,
and you don't want to add any lenses (like a fisheye),
and there is no image stabilizing system (electronic or optical) in it,
and your computer and video editing application can deal with and edit MOV files...
Then yeah, it is might be an OK deal. But you did not give us a price... The Flip cams, Sanyo Xacti and Kodak Zi8 and a WHOLE bunch of others fall into this category. And no, I don't have one and I would not buy one.
