hey man thank you so much for the response i am very confused however. I thought 1gb was good because i have never heard of it 512 was highest i heard of. Like what could i play on it. The thing is i can only spend 799 and i live in canada and would prefer to get one at futureshop. So why is the video card bad and is everything else good? thanks man appreciate it

The video card is not bad.

In reply to: confused

Just seems out of sync with the rest of the machine.

8GB is overkill for today's games. My kid plays everything on 2GB RAM and a nice video card off that list but with only 512MB ram. Consumers are being oversold on RAM (it's cheap) and taken to the cleaners with slower GPUs.

Keep shopping.
