Change the ram to a 2x4GB kit.

Is the ssd your only storage?

If it is, space is going to get tight quick if you start gaming.

I can't change it to 2x4. Links has got some 4 GB memories, but they're all DDR3 and well under 3000 MHz. I reckon this way will be faster, although a computer expert I spoke to said the difference was minimal. This is Links' catalog of memories https://www.links.hr/en/memory-slots-2 If you see any 2x4 combination better than the one I'm currently using, feel free to inform me.
I currently have 373 GB of ROM memory, and I'm using up only 85 of it. And I haven't reset my system in a year or two. Plus, if I do need more memory, I can hop to the store and buy some. I would do it now, but money's a little tight.

The difference between using single channel and dual channel can be small.

Since your building a gaming rig you don't want to leave perf on the table.

Got access to another merchant?

Perhaps amazon or newegg?

Btw....the 373GB is not rom it's storage.

Aside from Amazon and Newegg, what other online merchants are there?

What's the difference between ROM and storage?
