The Panasonic FX-7 is pretty new on the market. But I did find some Owner Opinions:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/read_opinions.asp?prodkey=panasonic_dmcfx7
It has image stabilization and has a Leica lens.
It certainly should be a choice camera.
....
Oregon Scientific PV100 .....
Here is Oregon Scientific site:
http://www.oregonscientific.co.uk/press_detail.asp?p=28
There are many entries on the web about that camera and just about all quote the same data ... the press release by Oregon Scietific.
It has a big screen but no optical zoom and 3 meg.
Big on showmanship and little else.

I found that the Panasonic DMC-FX7 has what im looking for...... 2.5 + LCD.....Quick respond time bewteen shots....lithium battery......pocket size...I have been told all of these are ture. I was wondering if some could verify if all these are factual....Im having a hard time finding reviews if some one could make a reply on personal experience or what they have heard of about it could you please let me know. I have also heard avout a Oregon Scientific pv100 that looks amazing with its 3.5inc lcd but i hear that its only for sale in the UK I was wondering if that this was ture because I was going to use it as a seccond if you all thought this one was not a good camera to have. I just want some thing nice for shots with friends and goofing around nothing profesional. I dont need extras.
