Question

Is there anyway to disable Very Low Battery Warnings on W10?

Mar 3, 2018 7:28PM PST

I have already gone to the Battery section of the Control Panel and disabled the warnings, yet they still show up.

I'm wondering if there's a way to disable or delete them through Registry or somewhere else.

A solution to this would be to replace the battery or the charger since it seems to not be charging - which i can't do. I'm on a laptop, it's a generic brand.

I changed the levels, but that doesn't do anything - it was one of the first things i did. There's another option around there to disable notifications and i did so, but they haven't gone away.

I'm sure you googled this.

I can't find an off setting. Just the usual advice to remove the bad battery and that seems to disable the warnings.

Remember that a bad battery can cook a laptop's motherboard. It's not easy to tell the laptop owner if they had removed the bad battery, the laptop might have lived longer.
