Is there anything I could use an old laptop for on a new one

by tech_fantatic / April 8, 2007 10:21 AM PDT

I'v got a laptop that is about 5 or 6 years old. I have barely used it, so it is almost perfect condition (barely any files, things like that)

Is there anything that I could use this for on my new laptop? For example, like using it for an external hard drive. I just have it laying around, so I thought it would be a good idea to use it for something, but I don't really have the skills or knowledge to know what for.

This should be my final question. Thanks so much!

It's like carrying 2 wallets. You get mugged and give the wallet of your choice. For your old laptop you leave that one out so the burglar nabs that one and you put your good one away where you store it.

That works for me. I don't really care if it gets used or not, just thought it might become useful somehow.

Good idea!
