Is there any way to start home business?

by advin001 / July 23, 2008 8:15 PM PDT

Hi! I am a housewife and very enthusiastic to start any kind of home business, so that I can also earn something to run extra things which are necessary but are out of my budget. Can anyone help me for doing this? I need detailed information for starting it. Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, but questions like this ...

attract a lot of scam. You don't really believe a site that's labeled "Make $21.000 a month", but tells nothing about what you should do for that, do you?

So answers like that are being deleted by the moderators.

we would be interested in your "venture into supplying equipments to professional Massage Therapists, health care practitioners such as Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Athletic trainers, and other Physical Therapists" as outlined in

No better story than a real-life story, be it about success (apparently not) or failure (then tell why and what you learned from it, so other members could learn from you).

Legal ways to start home business
by white-bread / July 26, 2008 11:26 AM PDT

Apply for a license to have a business. Do you want a corporation? S or C?
Are you professionally acreddited? Have you formal eduvcation?
Can you balance a book? How will you do your stock rotation? If just services, how will you record them? Do you know how much your equipment can be depreciated each year or for how long before you need to replace? Have you applied for the proper tax forms? Have you checked to see if your section is zoned for business?
You need a license. You need to study accounting and business. You need to be able to set up logistics in a manner that neither you nor your client will lose. You need to have insurance. You need a tax number. You need to research to be sure that your company name is not similar to another name in use.

If you want to start a business, do it right from the start.

Hello. What are you passionate about? Find something that you know and love. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do until I realized my business was sitting right in front of me the entire time. I love helping people start and improve small businesses. With my financial background, I am also able to help them acquire funds to get their business off the ground. It took me a long time to realize that my knowledge is perfect for a website. I can't believe I didn't think of it long ago.

So, take a look around. What you are looking for is probably right in front of your nose!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
