Question

is there any way to move apps to sd card on android 4.2.2?

Mar 14, 2014 4:33PM PDT

I have an rca tablet that runs Android 4.2.2 and there is no option to move apps to my sd card. My internal memory is getting low and I just bought an sd card only to realize I can't even move my apps, the ones that are moveable anyways.

Do I have to root this tablet to move them? Can you even root a tablet?

Try XDA forums.

I'll skip over any google search results as you would do that first and move to what you would not find if you google your question. Ready?

Find the XDA Forums and see if anyone issued a newer Android for this tablet. That usually cures this one.

Yes you can root a tablet, and yes you have to root your tablet. Google it up, you'll find a nice forum for rooting your specific tablet. That surely will solve the problem as rooted devices can allocate SD card memory to act as the primary memory.
Cheers!
