Sending emails isn't the problem. Concentrate your requirements and your selection of a tool on what it offers for:
- making personalised mails
- registering responses (like: bounced, not opened, opened but not clicked, clicked, clicked and bought something within a week)
- processing opt-outs
- selecting the right email addresses (the more you know of your customers, the more you target your mails), so there needs to be an integration with your ERP system
- don't send too much mails to the same address
