I've done that and they don't care what it is, it's value is taxed and the receiver pays.

suppose i ship a digicam whose value is 100$ and spend 10$ for shipping. then mark it used and mark it as a gift.

then how much should i pay for tax and custom duties.

is the receiver pay custom or i have to pay that.

if reciever have to pay than how he will pay. is he had to go to custom office to pay.

like u said there is tax on shipping used digicam but some persons said there is no tax on used digicam's. i am so confused

i am new to this and want a detailed support.

You seem to think this is UPS.COM

This is not the post office or a shipping site. You seem to be unable to call a local shipping store to ask this?

This forum is about Digital Cameras and I've answered you a few times. Maybe far off-topic posts will find themselves locked in the future?

I can assure you that tax is not determined by new or used, but the laws and disposition of the country and people that it ships to. I used Canada as just one example since I do that monthly. It matters not to them what it is, just the dollar value on their market.
