Clarification Request

I googled your question and there it is.

But where do I find it?
MiniTool Partition Wizard could do it but only with the paid version.

I select GPT to format the harddisk in Window Vista ultimate but when I connect it to Windows 10 pro, the partition suddenly gone after several times. Both windows are retail version.

You found it.

MiniTool. It doesn't look expensive so are you saying the recovery isn't worth doing?

Good idea!

But your answer doesn't match my question.

There were other finds.

What I often find is the folk that look for such next complain the tool is hard to use. So here is how it is today.

Free may be hard to use.
Pay a little and it usually is an easier to use tool.

-> Before all this did you recover your files? I use Recuva first to recover files before I bother with partition recovery.

Partition Recovery Free Tool

If you are unable to find your partition or somehow, your partition has been deleted or missing, then you can use the 'Can't Find Drive' option under the 'Select Location' using Stellar Phoenix Free Data Recovery software. This option of the software will list down all the missing, and the existing volumes to recover data

Hope it works!

I think Stellar is good for data recovery but not for partition. I have an extra backup for the data. I just wanted to know how to recover a partition in case another accident occur.

free not worth it

There are many free options available if you search closely like easeus but i personally prefer to spend small amount and subscribe to premium services for better results

I will try easeus and hope that it will work.

Have used a software for partition recovery

Well, I have personally used Stellar for partition recovery recently for my sisters PC and it did the job for me. Using the software was not at all troublesome as I was expecting it to be. Let me know how easeus works for you.

Try out Testdisk

The only free tool for restoring partitions worth its salt is Testdisk. It's a command line only tool, and you'd better understand what you are doing if you're going to attempt using it.

Perhaps you'd be better off discussing what actually lead up to the "lost partition" situation. Often, people are trying the entirely wrong approach to data recovery.

I'd recommend you post details about what happened on one of the various data recovery forums:
