Question

is there an ap that displays progress in booting?

May 17, 2013 9:00PM PDT

I am looking for an ap for my desktop with XP that does for Booting Up something akin to the progress display that XP does provide for Shutting Down. Can anyone suggest such an ap?

Given XP's age.

If there was to be such an app, it would have been done. But as all apps are closed as you shutdown, that app would stop and, well. Microsoft would had to put such into the operating system.

You bring up a good point. Is it time to forget these old systems and move to consumer oriented, polished systems that shield the users from the nuts and bolts?

Bob: Thanks. I see your point and will quit searching for what I want. Latin
