Question

Is there an adapter that can show a phones screen onto a TV?

I was wondering what the adapter was called that can digitally project through an adapter my mobile phone's (Moto E {2nd Gen}) screen onto my tv through an HDMI type thing. I know they have a digital A/V adapter to do this for Apple phones, but I was wondering if someone could help me out with a link to get an adapter for an Android phone preferably from Best Buy. I have no idea about the technological specifications on this topic and what would work and what wouldn't. Please help. Need to get one by tonight for Halloween movie night.

Looks like no MHL or other.

Adapter

Is there an adapter for it in general? (not limiting it to only Best Buy)

Chromecast

I don't have chromecast or any relating subscriptions. I want just an adapter to be able to digitally project my phone's screen.

Then no such thing.

I showed how I figured out that there was no cable solution, nod to the Chromecast or other Miracast device to the TV and now you want, well I can't tell at this point.

If I wanted to solve this I'd use my Chromecast and set that up.

Last hurrah.

With an app and a games console you could squeeze it.

How? (name of app, please)

Might not work with the slightly older hardware (lack of firmware support), FWIW.

YMMV.

Skifta maybe?

Been a while but I'll dig out my tablet and have a look. I recall I could put movies from tablet to PS3 to TV

So some Android Console game box and

Back to MiraCast? Maybe asking too much from most today.
