Question

Is there a way to make the Desktop in Mission Control act li

I have been a huge fan of Spaces since they launched it, and used a different program to get that functionality before they added it to OS X, but I have one complaint about Lion's implementation. That is how it handles the desktop. In Spaces you either have a different desktop in each space, or a single space that showed up in all spaces. I prefer the second, where you have a single desktop and finder and the same open windows in all desktops. This facilitates easy drag and drop.

In Lion you can only have the finder show up in a single desktop or all, but the all is a different desktop for each space, which does not facilitate easy drag and drop, especially if you don't have finder windows open in that space when you click on the finder, it jumps to a different space with a finder window open. This frustrates the heck out of me!

Has anyone figured out a way to have the old implementation, where you can have a single desktop/finder space shared between all your Mission Control spaces?
