Is there a way to know if sent emails get to their recipient

Dec 5, 2006 2:32AM PST

I have a few friends that i email. Sometimes i hear from them or sometimes i don't. I figure that they're just busy or something. Then i email them to see how they're doing. I usually get an email saying that they never received the email i sent.

Was wondering if there is a way to know if the email recipient gets the email i send.

Have a Gateway m520 cs+ laptop, running winXP.

If i've left out any important info., let me know and i will try to provide that info.

thx, in advance. mm724

Internet email has no such system that works reliably to report this.

you can ask them for a receipt. In OE go to Tools/Options/Receipt Tab/ and tick the box asking for a receipt... might help! I personally would not use this across the board but maybe with a few friends with whom there is limited communications.
