Question

Is there a way to block a booter on my IP?

Oct 10, 2015 1:03PM PDT

So I am a League of Legends player, it's frustrating when your internet drops at any time in game, lobby, champ select, and etc. However I have suspicions that my older brother is using a booter, is there a way to block a booter on my IP?

I found out that he probably was using a booter when he got mad at me when I did researching and found that someone in the household was connected to using a Booter Service, vBooter.

Answer
who is the networks owner?

the big difference as far as what can and cannot be done depends on who owns the network, the computers, and who is the register subscriber of the internet access. If you are not the owner, then there is nothing you can legally do.

That said, there are plenty of antibooters available. the problem is, most of then also includes nasties that can infect your computers. Just do a search.

A quick google of "booters" paints a bad picture in WOT.
