If you want to edit, Videowave 6 comes with the full version of Easy cd Creator 7.5.
There is U-lead and google for Virtualdub.
Here is a link with lots of info. John

video capture software

hi susien,

i take it that in addition to needing to be able to capture video, that you will need to edit it also.

many people recommend sony vegas movie studio http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=932

i recently tried the trial version. i was able to figure out a few things by myself, but i really didn't have time to really learn it.

other people recommend adobe premiere elements http://www.adobe.com/products/premiereel/main.html

i bought this last week because it was onsale with photoshop elements, which you use to edit photos for $99. i haven't had time to install it.

after watching the video's about it on adobe's web site, it "seemed easier than the sony product.

i'm not trying to edit a hollywood movie, so at this point, i'd rather have something that wouldn't take me a week to edit 10 minutes of video (smile)
