Is there a track marking software out there?

by Syrinx77 / March 30, 2009 6:35 AM PDT

I hope I word this properly.

I have a bunch of live concert recordings that I'm transferring to my laptop. Songs on live recordings often tend to blend into each other & what I'd like to do is use an audio program (I have Audacity) to not only record these shows, but also mark each track so that when I slap it on a disc, I can easily find any song.

Audacity doesn't seem to have this capability. From what I understand, I have to save each track *separately*. Is there a (preferably free) program that does this?

Hope this makes sense.

Thx!

I looked it over & if I understand it, I have to 'cut out' & Export each track separately.

In other words, I can't record the entire show, select & mark each track & *then* Export it all as a whole(?)

Maybe you should try some mp3 converting programs, I think some of them have that feature..

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
