Question

Is there a timer setting on Macbook pro RDC

Apr 12, 2012 1:59PM PDT

Hi , first time Mac owner, I have had my It guy set up the MAC RDC so I can remotely access my desk top at work.

Everything works fine except the link disconnects every 4 minutes.

Is there a setting on the Mac that will allow me to adjust this?

When using my Microsoft PC, I have no issues with remote access and the disconnection.

My IT guy says he has no idea and at the MAC store, they spoke about a similar scenario on one of the guys own MAC book that his IT resolved and changed a setting, but was not able to assist me further.

Any assistance greatly appreciated as logging on every 4 minutes is highly unproductive!

Thanks. It looks like it might be the low productivity route until a new fix is developed.

Some get upset about MAC or Mac. Apology to those it offended.
