Question

Is there a specific cable i need for this?

Okay I have a 46in LCD HDTV and an older Emachine (ya I know) but I have lot of older movies on it and would like to watch them on my tv. The TV has a VGA port.

Is there a specific VGA cable I need or would any VGA cable work.? I would like some quality doesnt have to be top. I have been told there are VGA to HDMI would this work?

If you know the type I need a link to the item would be much appreciated as well. The guy at Best Buy say that I can only use the one that have and its $49.99 I think there should be a better or cheaper way.

Thanks

Since the TV ...

does have a VGA connection ANY good working VGA cable will serve you just fine.

Since it is movies you are wanting to watch you will also want an audio cable to run from your PC AUX or line out port to the TV for the sound.
