Resolved Question

Is there a Removal Tool for Driver Detective?

by tommytalley / September 6, 2013 12:15 AM PDT

My wife was making updates and now has Driver Detective on one of our computers. I cannot remove from Add/Remove Programs. It only allows: CHANGE. I searched on CNET but did not come up with removal tool.

Thanks for information. I have noted. Also found that if you use cCleaner that you can just go to "TOOLS", scroll to the list and it will allow you to uninstall. IT"S GONE! Thank you folks for the help!

Did you look to see if it is in program files and try to remove from that location? Something else you could try, download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and give that a shot. These would be easy things to try and may do the trick.

I know this has been answered, but I had the same problem and found that it could be removed by clicking change program uninstall. One of the changes was to uninstall the program

I hope this helps

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
