Question

is there a product I can get that will boost my wifi signal

Apr 5, 2012 2:47AM PDT

when I try to FaceTime or stream movies or video from my home WiFi it freezes. It tells me that my signal strength is excellent...not sure what steps to take.

Bad news.

I've used said things and the upload speed and more is too variable. I would never suggest such use except where nothing else works.

Again, the issues you noted are expected.

I believe some bugs have been reported, but not on all models. Which model number is it?

The most common fix I know of

Is to monopolize the wifi connection. Configure the router so that only this one device is on the wifi. If there are other wifi things, we wire them because of a simple fact. If the stream if from your PC/Mac then you get about 1/4 the throughput!

But tell more.
