Question

Is there a player like this?

Oct 12, 2011 12:01AM PDT

I'm looking for a player I can use to play accompaniment to live performances. It would need to have these features / functions:

* can play one song, then stop
* can play .WAV files
* good back light for low-light conditions
* idiot-proof interface
* fast and easy search function
* can put all files in one folder, not separated by album, artist etc.

It would be good but not absolutely necessary to:
* play .WAV files rendered at 24-bit / 48k
* play video out to external screen / projector, etc.
* can output audio through a USB port

I'm hoping the gurus here can help.

Thank you in advance.

What you described is likely some device custom programmed for the task.
