Is there a non-ipod I can still use with Itunes?

Apr 29, 2010 1:29AM PDT

It looks like my ipod is going kaputz, and I don't want to spend a lot on a replacement.

I mainly use my ipod for podcasts, and most of the music I add to it is in mp3 format.

Is there a non-ipod I could buy that I could listen to itunes podcasts on? Or am I limited to only using an ipod?

Also, if you found one cheap, and you wanted more than 8gb, would you go for one of the older model click wheel ipods? or is it better to go with a newer generation that does not have a hard drive?
