Is there a genuine-Cleaner for codecs-

by tcantrelln / December 15, 2008 5:55 AM PST

Fixed a 'DVD NO Browse / No Play' problem. With everything working again I ran the Microsoft Video Decoder checkup utility and found a dozen or so that haven't been in the system for a long time (Like, etc) What works to remove the broken and missing fluff? I have good green checkmarks on the current codecs that work but would like to give the old hosers a toss. TIA (System = Asus P5 board, Pentium D, XPpro-sp3, usual other stuff. Sony AWQ-170a Burner.
