Is there a driver search program out there that works?

by startraveler2 / August 9, 2008 5:51 PM PDT

I have tried every driver program from "DriverDetective (which wouldn't even install) to Driver Genius, Driver Guide, Driver Dude, etc. and none adequety does the job. I need to scan my computer and have the driver program tell me exactly what's needed. Is there one out there that will really do the job? Thanks in advance

Needed for what?

Is there something that doesn't work? If everything works, no scanner or program will help as nothing is needed. Can you be more specific as to what you are trying to do?

No and yes.

No, I've yet to find one that works without flaw. And yes, the good old fashioned make a list of my gear or hitting the maker web sites works fine for me.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
