I spent some time at BestBuy with a sales clerk (not helpful) and with their 888 phone number...fruitless. I'll keep checking back to this thread for responses though as I'm looking for the same thing. Elderly parents love to use the speaker phone whenever I call but the TV, kitchen and other back ground noises always interfere with our ability to hear one another. SO frustrating!
Wife owns a hair salon and the background noise can be deafening. She needs a cordless phone with two lines that can filter, or at least reduce, the ambinent noise of hair dryers, etc. For some reason I'm only able to find this technology in headsets (Plantronics) and not in the handsets. Obviously this background noise can be irritating to clients. Noise cancelling headsets is an option, but it will be hard to get her female receptionist to walk around looking like an Time Life operator.
