Unless your seller will take back gear that fails for such reasons, why go 4K?

Leaning toward getting the P-series for the 4K. Is it really much better in pic quality and features? I'm sure the regular picture isn't that much different and we have to wait for the 4K to be introduced on Comcast. Anyone know when that is?
