Is the Rave About Pocophone F1 true?

Sep 3, 2018 12:40AM PDT

There is been a lot of talk concerning the Xiaomi Pocophone F1. How it's the flagship killer of flagships phones. Has any one used it? And does it warrant all the hype?

Never heard of it before

This is the first time I have heard about it. I think the rave is because of the lower price than the flagship Android phones.

No Netflix for you? Seems that is a bad thing.

Very Fast but...
Sep 7, 2018 2:51AM PDT

I just received mine a few days ago and it's very fast with a good display. There was one problem which was solved and one that wasn't. I got the Global Version with 128gb mem and there was no mention anywhere of face unlock. This was a deal breaker for me. So I searched the internet and found a short video on Youtube that said that if I go to settings and tell the phone that my region is India (as opposed to the US) the feature would appear in settings. This worked perfectly and the face unlock is almost as fast as on my Oneplus 6. I am still having a problem in that the phone still does not respond to "Okay Google". Any suggestions?

Don't keep it. If they don't respond to issues, start the RMA and refund process.
