Is the forum tip not showing anymore?

by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / March 18, 2005 7:25 AM PST

I wonder if the forum Tip is broken since recent posts are the worst I've seen in years.

Can you read it?

With Mr. Proffitt and Glenda, some of these recent posts needed some kind of interpreter to understand what and why they were having problems with.

Most people do not know nor understand what it is about. Most people do not following the advices given. Some cannot follow instructions. Some do not report back if a tip, instructions, or advices given work or not or they just say the problem is solved, without mentioning how. A lot of the posters need fishing lessons......So, it is not surprising that they "do not see" the forum tip.

Nasradin Hodja and the Forums ...
by Cetin Denislam / March 23, 2005 6:35 PM PST

Nasradin Hodja said to the clueless people who were coming in the Forums:

Do you know what I'm going to say?

No, we don't know.

Well, if you don't know, I have nothing to say to you.

The next time, he asked them again:

Do you know what I'm going to say?

Yes, we know!

Well, if you already know, I have nothing to say to you.

The next time he asked again:

Do you know what I'm going to say?

Half of the regulars said We know and the other half of the posters:We don't know.

And so Nastradin said:

Let those of you who know tell those of you who don't!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
