Is the 10in Android Tablet Dead?

Jan 30, 2015 7:30AM PST

Is there no good 10in tablet out there?

Ok I'm sure samsung has a one tablet tablet. I don't know if just past experience with them, or the buttons on the tablet, but I'm just not into samsung tablets.

So who is next?
Sony was probably my next choice, but there 10 in tablet is now almost a year old. With them coming out with an 8in one I don't see a 10 inch coming from them for a while. I doubt Sony will update the Z2 to Lollipop any time soon.

Nexus 9 - Not bad, but not a 10 in tablet (it is close). I can see a 7-8in tablet being in portrait mode, but a 9.7... Not for me.

I was close to getting a Nexus 10, but it seems like that time has past.

HP -
has a 10 in tablet., Limited to 16 gb of space.

Same with Lenovo only 16gb? no 32. Yes I know they both have a micro sd slot. Yes Lenovo pro tablet does have 32 bit, but I don't need a projector.

Asus 701
I probably would buy this, but only one speaker? You can't get stereo sound out of one speaker.

I see a lot of these tablets on peoples best of list. But when there is only maybe 2-3 good tablets to choose from, its not hard to choose a best tablet out of 3.

Can somebody build a good 10.1 Inch Android Tablet?

For you a dead thing.

Your comments lead me to believe you are wanting a PC in tablet form. If so you would look at the Asus T100 and Microsoft surface models.
