Is System Mechanic5 too old to use?

Oct 24, 2008 6:54AM PDT

I was just given an unopened copy of Iolo System Mechanic5. I have a 2+ year old Dell Inspiron laptop running XP, a gig of ram, and a dual core Celeron. My 2 yr Macafee has run out, and I'm currently running Spybot and Adware, as well as MS Windows Defender.

Will running this oldy moldy Mechanic5 do any good, or more importantly, do any harm?

Thanks!
