Is $Persi0 file on c:\ a virus ?
I do not think it was there the day I installed XP.

Across all ThreatExpert reports, the file "persi0.exe" has always been identified as a threat.

The file "persi0.exe" is known to be created under the following filename:

thank you for your reply , I should have posted the extension as well ,its .sys , is this file required ?
I notice on my other pc its droped the 0 , $persi.sys
