Is OLED tv here to stay?

Considering the several TV fads lately, will the OLED's stand the test of time? Are they reliable? Will they set the new standard or give way to the next advances?

So that's easy to answer. As to reliability, today's gear looks to be 5 year designs. You can get more or less.
