Question

Is my TV savable?

by cshalbert22 / March 16, 2014 1:11 AM PDT

The screen on my Samsung Series 5 52" TV, that I bought in 2008, recently started going screwy. (see links)

It comes and goes, and usually takes a few minutes to act up after being turned on. Tried using both the HDMI and Aux ports, same result. One of my techie friends thought it might be a bulb issue...

Is this something I can get fixed (cheaply) or is it a goner? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Happy

It's not user serviceable and my bet is the tech will diagnose it to be some bad board. It does not look like a bulb issue.
