Apple has made it clear over and over again that they only support Apple branded equipment.
I never found the P5 you noted in an Apple to date. So with that I think you are asking about the Hackintosh which the forum policies do not allow.
With that out of the way, this thread is closed. If you do have an Apple with that board, just alert this thread with some document showing Apple made it and we'll continue on.
Hi. I am running the following specs:
Asus P5KPL-CM, Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200, 4Gb of DDR2 RAM, INTERNAL GRAPHICS, and ethernet adapter and 1tb hdd. Someone said these parts were more than compatible, but when I try to boot it up using boot args it gets stuck on a screen saying ACPI: System State [S0 S3 S4 S5] (S3) and just sits there.
For those who have run Os X snow leopard on Windows PCs, please need help here!
