Greetings all,
The other day I came in from shoveling snow to a strong stench of burning plastic. I found out it was my computer in the bedroom. Long story short the smell seems to be the PSU. The PC still boots and it plays games for about 20 minutes before shutting down / crashing. It won't turn on until I wait or in unplug and plug it back in. The temps on all hardware are low 50 on gpu while gaming and everything else in the 20s.
PSU antec HCG 900w
Ram Corsiar Vengense ddr3 8gb
Gpu R9 290x 8gb DD
3 sata hard drives (not ssd sshd)
Corsiar H100i cooling
Cup AMD 6350 6 core
I've got a replacement psu comming already for free. Just wanting to see if any other hardware could be damaged?
