Is Minnesota the ONLY "Purple State" ?

An interesting article: http://www.startribune.com/191/story/446346.html

Someone from Wisconsin had this to say:
"Wisconsin is a bit of a purple state as well. In the 2000 and 2004 elections we just barely came out as blue. The Madison and Southeastern Wisconsin areas are mainly blue, but the rest came out Red(i've seen the Red/Blue mark up by county) Our two biggest cities, Milwaukee and Madison, are blue.

Someone from New York:
NYC overwhelmes the rest of my state.
