I couldn't get it to install on my laptop, Vista Home Premium, 32 bit. I would really like to know how you all did it (already tried the compatibility thing)b/c I don't like the newer version of Word

Uninstall all new and old versions of Office on the machine and then install Word 2003. I have yet to see everyone install Word 2003 when a newer office is installed.

What happens when you try?

Tell us how the installation fails, and what is the wording of any error messages you see.

We often suggest that any 'Trial Period' Microsoft Office is uninstalled first. You don't say what you have installed now, but it may be an idea to uninstall any other versions of Office, reboot the computer, then try again.
