Is Medion Akoya Ex noisy?

Hey guys,

I bought Akoya EX two weeks ago. I have realized it makes really really annoying noise (I think) due to the fan. Does anyone have similar problem? I cannot live with it b/c it starts making noise whenever I launch an application even firefox.

Akoya EX Noise

I have had my unit for a week and am very pleased so far.

My fan comes on briefly when I first turn it on and then stops. I have heard it run occasionally but it is not intrusive or obstrusive. The only other sound I hear is from the HD and DVD drives when they are accessed.

I would get in touch with the vendor and/or manufacturer if you feel the noise is excessive.

Mine is Quiet

I have had mine for about two weeks and it does not make any loud noise.
