Hello katva,
Folder:
C:/Documentsand Settings/AllUsers/ApplicationData/AVG10
actually belongs to AVG 2011 and is needed for AVG to work properly.
Previous version of AVG was AVG9, there was no AVG 2010.
It is safe to delete update subfolder:
C:/Documentsand Settings/AllUsers/ApplicationData/AVG10/update/
It will be automatically recreated during next AVG update.
Thank you
Are the followingtype of files related to AVG2011 free? I don't know if "AVG10" refers to the year 2010(last years free edition) or the version 10.xx.xx, (this years edition). I'd like to delete them as they seem to be left over files. I'm usingWin xp, sp3, 32 bit.
ie-
C:/Documentsand Settings/AllUsers/ApplicationData/AVG10/update/download
C:/Documentsand Settings/AllUsers/ApplicationData/AVG10/update/backup/sc.dat.xcd
Thanks.
