is it possible to upgrade the motherboard of my laptop

the motherboard of my laptop is damaged and not working any more.I want to repair this laptop so is there any chance to upgrade the motherboard of my laptop.

So far unless you are very lucky laptop motherboards are specific to the model you have. There's some interchangeability in product lines but the maker does not document this so you are on your own. Best answer is to get the same board.

If the motherboard that would be from the laptop maker or second hand markets like ebay. Beware that burned motherboards are usually the end of a laptop. Here we ebay the machine as-is and get a good laptop.

if you upgrade the motherboard, even if the old is damaged, you must replace the oem operating system. You can only keep the old os if you replace with the exact same motherboard.

there should be a hp service center in your country where you can order the exact same motherboard.

IMO, it is usually better just to get a new laptop.
