Is it possible to transfer data from HD to HD inc Programs

by barolo1 / June 4, 2012 9:12 AM PDT

I have a hard drive about to go out. Is there a clone software that will allow me to copy the entire HD including the different software executible programs. Or do we still have to go through the endless process of hunting down Original software, down loaded software or OEM installed software when the machine was purchased. Will Ghost or any of the other cloning/transferring programs eliminate this problem. Thanks

If you buy a retail version hd it should come with a clone util.

If you buy an oem version hd then visit the maker's site.
A clone util should be available to down load.

It's a sector by sector copy.......gets everything.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
