Sep 17, 2011 11:46AM PDT

I have a computer/desktop that is inrange of my wireless router. I have a laptop that is out of range but 25' from the desktop. Can I connect the two with an ethernet cable?

Answer
Sure.

But I find that's not the hard part. Many find the internet sharing to be too tough. And with a WIFI USB thing costing the same as the cable and easier my advice is to forget the cable.
