I'd ask Sony, there is more involved with this than just a hardware hook up, as a prior poster mentioned, software would be the issue.
Until you have the Sony in hand and look it over -OR- at least know the model# and thus find the specs of that model. More than likely you find possible RGB, S-Video or firewire connection but then you don't know??? So, until known it's all a crapshoot. Once you have it you then need to see the cabling and/or whatever h/w can be had. As explained by Robert, some s/w may have to be included to make the xfer that much easier. Though, some older gear like Dazzle or Snap had the odds and ends required to attach, xfer and then you use the s/w or MS supplied s/w to edit or mix, etc.. When it comes to old stuff, you're pretty much trying to find hard to find items or in some harder to find s/w, though you get lucky.
