Is it possible that my internet provider blocked my website?

May 15, 2009 4:34PM PDT

I'm at the end of my rope here and I'm hoping someone could help me out.

Just today I have had trouble accessing my website. I usually access it at work and home and have never had an issue. Both my home and work have the same provider. This afternoon when I try to access it in Firefox I get a "Connection Interrupted" response. When I try to access it in Internet Explorer I get a simple "Page Cannot be Displayed." I tried it on several computers both at home and work and get the same thing.

At first I thought the site was down, but I called my web host and they said everything is working fine. I also noticed that my site statistics were going up, implying that people were visiting it. I tried accessing it on my phone and it worked. Then I went to a network that had a different provider and it also worked fine.

Is it possible that my internet provider has blocked my website? I haven't called my service provider yet, because I wanted to make sure I'm not crazy. If anybody has any suggestions, I'm open to anything.

My website is: http://www.filmmisery.com so you can see if it works for you. Also, my Internet Service is provided by Federated Telephone (http://www.fedtel.net), a small, crappy service.

NOTE: One of the reasons I'm suspicious is because my boss "caught" me working on my site at work and frowned. She's just passive-aggressive enough to call my ISP and do something like this.
