You would have to have another to swap it with. And a working machine to swap this and that.
This is where service depots have it all over in the field repairs.
I own a Asus G53S . My power jack went bad so I decided to replace the whole motherboard. Got it from a computer shop in different state. They said it was 100% tested and it's working fine. When I install it in my laptop and press power button all the lights on the front face are on , I can hear the CD drive spinning for a second or so and I can hear the HDD spinning for a sec and then stop. Nothing on the screen - black all the time. How do I determine if my CPU is bad or the motherboard?
