Remember that a GPU is a Processor too.

The GPU in the RTX 2080 compares to an i9 doing some heavy work.

"The GeForce RTX 2080 is a enthusiast-class graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in September 2018. .... FP64 (double) performance: 314.6 GFLOPS"

To crack that you would have to look at the higher end i9's
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Core_i9_microprocessors

The 18 core i9 hits 1,000 GFLOPs but not all i9's have that many cores or speed.
