Is HDTV a good option?

I own a XBOX 360 console and i've an regular LG Flatron (21 inch) TV.The pitchure quality of my TV, when it comes to games is not very good. I m looking to buy a new HDTV - "Samsung-LA22A450C1".
Is the diffrence between pitchure quality of my TV and that HDTV (while playing games) is big enough for me to buy that HDTV.
Give me some advice.

For me it was worth the move.

The clearer picture let me play the games with less eyestrain. Even 480p on HDTV is better than what you get on older sets.
